U16 Boys Win
MYSO U16 Boys wins Clinton Fall Tournament. The boys fought hard the entire weekend and defeated Northwest Rankin in the final game with a 2-1 score. Coached by Johnny Morgan and trained by Jan Barron. This team finished the fall season with a 9-2-1 record.

MYSO Shirts
MYSO is proud to have the 2008-09 shirts ready for sell. These shirts will have the sponsor names on the back. They are $10.00 and will be located by the concession area at Jaycee Complex on Saturday. If you don't play on Saturday, we will have them for sell at Northeast also.
Wednesday, September 17
Attention Coaches and Parents
REMINDER: Coaches are responsible for insuring that the proper protective equipment is worn by their players during practice and games. Please be sure that your players are wearing shin guards when practicing.
Friday, September 19
Parents
All players and coaches should be seated on one side of the field.
Parents & other spectators should be on the opposite side from coaches & players. There should not be anyone standing behind the goal or along the goal line end of the field. Thanks for your help.
Fields
No Pets, No Smoking, No Alcoholic Beverages are allowed on the soccer fields. Thanks for your help.
Wednesday, September 17
Referee Class
MYSO is offering a referee class on October 18, 2008. This will be at Hardin Hall. You must be 12 or older to take this class. You can register at www.mississippisoccer.org on the right side under referee courses. You must pre-register.
Kidsafe
Coaches, assistant coaches, referees, and ALL volunteers must have a kidsafe form filed each year. If you have not filled your form out, please click on this link and complete yours today. We can not issue rosters until your form is on file.
