U10B Tryouts
MYSO
will hold tryouts for the U10 boys this Saturday 2:00pm to 3:30pm at the Jaycee
Complex on the San Marcos field. The tryout is to determine if there is enough
interest to form a competitive team to play several tournaments between now and
mid June 2013.
The team(s) will practice 1 time per week, until the end of the REC season,
then possibly increasing to two times per week until mid June 2013 ( coaches
discretion ). These tournaments are typically 2day tournaments ( Saturday &
Sunday ) with travel involved. The tournaments that are being considered are in
Jackson ( last weekend in April ) then Tupelo ( weekend of May 18 & 19 ) and
finally The State Games of Mississippi in June, in Meridian ( weekend of June
15 & 16 ).
More details concerning the formation of this team and fees for such will be
posted on the website and a parent meeting will be held by April 6, 2013. |
